Survey Results
See how users answered the in-product surveys Deway shows them, with a per-answer breakdown for every survey.
Overview
When Deway shows users a survey prompt, their answers collect on the Surveys page under Results in the admin sidebar. Use it to:
- See response volume and the most common answer for each survey
- Read the full answer distribution for a single survey
- Drill into individual responses, including free-text "Other" answers
Navigate to Results → Surveys in the admin sidebar.
Layout
The page is a master–detail view:
- Survey list (left) — every survey you are running, with a quick rollup of responses
- Survey detail (right) — the full breakdown for the selected survey
The first survey is selected automatically. Use the time range selector in the top right to set the period for both the rollups and the detail.
Survey List
Each survey in the list shows a lightweight rollup for the selected period:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Survey | The survey's title |
| Total Responses | How many answers were submitted in the period |
| Last Response | When the most recent answer came in |
Select any survey to load its detail on the right.
Survey Detail
The detail view shows the full results for the selected survey.
Answer Distribution
Each answer option is shown with its count and percentage of total responses, in the order the survey defines them. If the survey allows free-text responses, an Other bucket is appended showing how many users wrote in their own answer.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Answer | The answer option (or Other for free-text) |
| Count | Number of users who chose it |
| Percentage | Share of total responses |
The detail also surfaces the top answer and the total responses for the survey in the period.
Responses
The responses table lists individual answers.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Answer | The option the user selected, or their free-text response when they chose Other |
| User | The identified user (from Deway.identify()) |
| Submitted | When the answer was submitted |
| Label | The user label attached to the response, if any |
Filtering by label
Use the label filter on the responses table to narrow results to a specific user label — for example, to see how a particular segment answered.
Empty State
If you have no surveys configured, the page shows No surveys yet. Once a survey is running and users begin answering, results appear here automatically.
